Our typical candidates are those with a high degree of physical fitness and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. Moving experience is recommended, however, we are looking for individuals who have strength, above average stamina, and a legitimate liking or hard physical labor.

Q. What are the most important qualities in a mover?

A. Many people feel that the only valuable qualities in a mover are size and strength. At Professional Movers, we have a different approach. The qualities we look for in our team members are professionalism, fitness, commitment, ability to work long hours and importance of customer service.

Q. What is a typical day like at Professional Movers?

A. The short answer is that there is no typical day at Professional Movers. The common thread each day is commitment to the customer. This means that Professional Movers will work until the job is completed. While this can make for some very long days (twelve hour days are not unusual), a seven to nine hour days is mostly typical. Whatever the length, being part of a hard working, professional crew makes a tough day that much more enjoyable.

Q. I am in school and have a class schedule to manage. Can I schedule around that?

A. At Professional Movers, we encourage professional growth, development and education. All employees are free to set time restrictions on their monthly work calendars. We are determined to adhere to a person’s schedule outside of work so if a time restriction is indicated, our operations team will work around that.

Q. How do I know when I am working each day?

A. Professional Movers staff determines their own schedule based on their needs. We place no requirements on how many or how few days an employee works.

Q. I have a vacation coming up that is already planned. Is that going to affect my job?

A. Professional Movers offers full flexibility and allows employees to set their own schedule.
